Christian Ortiz is a Research Associate at the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce. In this role, Christian will be assisting in the development of a Career Navigation Report that explores solutions to the broken pipeline between education and good job placement.
Christian is currently a rising senior at Georgetown University studying Computer Science and Mathematics. Throughout his undergraduate career, Christian has had previous experience working as a data science intern at Facebook, a student analyst at the Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation, and as a research associate at Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor. In addition to this, he is a co-founder of the Georgetown ColorStack Chapter, a pre-professional organization dedicated to empowering underrepresented minorities break into the tech industry. As a First Generation Low-Income Latino student, Christian is excited to apply his technical and analytical skills to research at the CEW that explores solutions to inequities in education and the workforce.
