Maria L. Iribarren is a Research Associate at the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce. She supports senior economists by contributing on policy and research efforts in the development of the Center’s new state initiative. Maria is also a Master in Public Policy student and Research Assistant at Georgetown University concentrating on domestic economic policy.

Prior to joining the Center, she worked as a summer research intern at the Cato Institute focusing on welfare policy, and as a strategic research intern at the Institute for Justice. She graduated from the University of Virginia with Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Economics. Following her undergraduate work, she completed a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Virginia.
