Michael Quinn

Senior Analyst

Michael Quinn is a Research Analyst at the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce. He provides research support for CEW’s State Initiative, which provides assistance to states in utilizing education and workforce data systems and tools to inform policy. His current research focuses on noncredit career and technical education programs, and competency-based education programs.

Prior to joining CEW, Michael interned in the Center on Higher Education Reform at the American Enterprise Institute. While at AEI his research focused on massive open online course (MOOC) providers, and the authorization process in each state for new postsecondary institutions.

He holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, where he researched factors influencing family participation in secondary school choice programs, and a BA in History and Political Science from Goucher College.
