Olivia O’Connell is a communications associate at the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce (CEW). Originally from Michigan, she recently earned her BA with high honors in history and political science from the University of Michigan and is currently pursuing her master of public policy degree at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy. In her role, Olivia synthesizes education and labor policy research to create social media content, compiles education and labor policy news updates for staff, and monitors CEW’s media analytics across multiple platforms.
Before joining CEW, Olivia served as a presidential fellow with the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress, where she conducted research on disability and education policy and connected with leading policymakers across Washington, DC. She is passionate about digital strategy, policy, and research and excited to be a part of the CEW team.
