The Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce is seeking an analyst who is interested in the connections between education and labor-market outcomes with a particular focus on racial and economic justice. A successful candidate must be able to translate data on inequality in the United States into clear writing and visuals using quantitative and qualitative methods. Candidates with research experience in the social sciences are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with core national datasets on education and employment is a plus.

Senior Research Analyst

CEW is seeking a senior research analyst with experience in issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion to contribute to ongoing work on socioeconomic, racial, and gender gaps in education and labor market outcomes. The position requires an understanding of US labor market and education institutions, sociological and statistical discrimination, and equity gaps in such areas as wealth and income. Demonstrated experience with US data, both cross-sectional and longitudinal, is critical. A background in the social sciences is considered a strong plus. A successful candidate will have strong writing abilities and organizational skills; the ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment is required.

Senior Editor/Writer

CEW is seeking a Senior Editor/Writer to draft and edit fast-moving narratives on the complex relationship between education and economic opportunity. The position involves writing, substantive editing, copy editing, and proofreading using education and labor market data in collaboration with researchers and communications professionals. A successful candidate will have experience writing about issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and experience working on both long-form and short-form products.
