The accompanying table compares the 50 states by contrasting the BLS entry-level worker education requirements with the educational attainment statistics gathered in two surveys sponsored by the U.S. Census Bureau. In all states, the BLS data for 2022 is even lower than the existing postsecondary educational attainment in 2014 as measured by the two separate Census surveys.
