Strategic Communications Specialist
Emma Wenzinger
Emma Wenzinger is Strategic Communications Specialist at the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce. In this role, Emma writes and edits communications materials ranging from newsletters to press releases, in addition to developing and executing media relations strategies.
Emma graduated in December 2018 with honors from Georgetown University, where she studied linguistics and classics. At Georgetown, she served as a member of the board of directors of The Hoya, the campus newspaper of record, and as its managing editor. After serving in leadership during a major digital transition, Emma reported on Title IX and food insecurity issues on campus.
Prior to joining CEW, Emma worked as a press intern at the US House of Representatives, where she focused on education, labor, and health policy issues. She joined CEW as a Communications Associate in 2018. Her passion for journalism and writing proved her an integral member of the communications team.
