Maryam joined the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce team in June 2023 as a Communications and Media Relations Specialist, after receiving her MPA degree from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance.

Prior to joining the CEW team, Maryam worked at an educational nonprofit in the greater Seattle area, and previously freelanced as a journalist.

Maryam graduated in 2021 from the University of Washington, Seattle, with a dual bachelor’s degree in journalism with honors and economics.
